Plan Your Omaha Deck Around Less Upkeep

Deck Bros is a family-owned deck builder offering low-maintenance decking in Omaha with composite and PVC options. Our custom deck building includes layout planning, framing, decking, railing, and stair details. We’re fully licensed and insured under Omaha License #2000717, and financing is available through Acorn Finance.

Choose the maintenance routine you want

If annual staining keeps cutting into your time outside, composite or PVC can reduce that work. Both still need routine cleaning. We explain product-specific care before you choose your decking.

We install Trex, TimberTech, AZEK, Fiberon, Deckorators, and MoistureShield products. Pressure-treated wood, cedar, and Ipe are also available for homeowners who prefer natural wood and accept its maintenance needs. Explore our composite deck building options to compare materials and construction details.

Specify the structure before the finish

For your Omaha deck building project, we plan footings, framing, and connections around the proposed layout. Ledger flashing helps direct water away from the deck’s connection to your house. Simpson Strong-Tie hardware supports specified structural connections.

Your proposal identifies decking, framing, railing, hardware, labor, and applicable permit costs. We explain the timeline and approval requirements before construction begins. A dedicated project manager keeps you informed through the final walkthrough.

Make the layout work for your home

Choose composite railing systems, Fortress Railing options, integrated deck lighting, or built-in benches and planters. We plan these details together so stairs, seating, and walking space fit how you use your yard.

Our crews protect your yard, siding, and landscaping and clean the work area daily. Based at 4611 S 96th St in Omaha, we also serve Bellevue, Papillion, and Council Bluffs. Check our deck building service areas for nearby communities.

I highly suggest using Deck Bros.. for several reasons. - knowledgeable employees such as Blake and Omar really ensured details were considered. I had two built - an extension to my front porch and a deck off my kitchen. They followed my plans to a T and went beyond. The cost… I bid this project out to at least 6 different companies over 10 years and the costs were always between 30k - 50k just for the back deck alone — I paid half of that for both decks. The quality of labor was 1000% The quality of product (wood) 10000% The customer service was 100000%

We are very satisfied with the work done at our home. Blake ,Dave Olander ,and the whole work crew , made the experience so enjoyable. From the beginning , we were kept aware of timing of the job and what the whole process would involve. The job site was kept neat and tidy and made sure we could still get in and out of our garage. The workmanship is top notch. We couldn’t be more satisfied. Thank you Deck Bros.

Deck Brothers did a great job installing composite decking, new railing & installing a privacy wall to block the sun. Eric went a step ahead in adding blocking underneath the deck to prevent birds nesting under the deck. Area cleaned after install. Extremely satisfied! You want to have these guys do your deck work!!

Update: despite some communication issues through the project, these guys are good on their word! The issues I had mentioned below with the trash and debris were picked up and they were kind enough to go the extra mile to build the retaining wall for me. Thank you to Treigh for stepping in and making it all better! Original post: I know I’m “supposed to” leave a great review, and if my issues are fixed, I will be happy to edit this, but as of right now, I’m pretty unhappy. The patio and stairs under my deck look excellent! I’m very happy with the work that was done. However the mess that was left is unacceptable. My lawn is destroyed in multiple spots. A sprinkler next to the project was run over and knocked crooked. I asked my project manager to fix that and was ignored. They left a pile of trash in my yard and have yet to come collect it. I was told this whole project from start to finish would take 3 days, but we’re on day 6 and as far as I’m concerned, I need grass replaced where it was damaged, the sprinkler fixed, and the garbage removed (plus the grass replaced where the pile of garbage was left), so it’s not completed yet. I sent a text to who I think is my current project manager (I was never given a business card so I’m not entirely sure) and it was ignored. I tried calling that number but there is no voicemail set up. Accurate protect timelines were not at all communicated, and there have been 3 separate teams at my house all blaming the other for the mess. I tried to fix the sprinkler myself this morning and was left defeated and covered in mud. I need to build up a retaining wall and can’t do that until the sprinkler is fixed. I’m a spouse of a deployed service member in a city alone, thousands of miles from family. My project manager knows that my husband is deployed. This whole experience has left me frustrated and feeling defeated.

We had a great experience with Sergio and his crew as they built our deck. From the initial sales appointment to the final walkthrough, the whole Deck Bros team was professional and polite, communicated with us about each step of the process and built a terrific deck that was just what we hoped for. I would highly recommend Deck Bros for your projects!
